We were surrounded by canyon walls…
They soared above us, and dropped below us.

...To the Colorado River carving its way through the rock far below us.
We had started on the south rim on our way to Phantom Ranch and the Bright Angel Campground.
We had read that it could get as warm as 120°F on this trail, but luck for us, today it wasn’t.
With each step we took, we dropped lower and lower into this ancient canyon.
We thought about the people who had been here thousands of years before.
The views of the canyon were breathtaking, and I love remembering that day.

Machine wash warm, inside out, with like colors. Only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble low dry. Medium iron. Do NOT iron decoration or dry clean.
